Puinhoop, Antidote, Stanx, Lärm, Indirekt, C.K.N., Bloedbad @ De Buze, Steenwijk 18 June 1983

This was my first ever time on stage with a band (Puinhoop). Stephen, the original bassplayer, canceled last minute because of wrecking nerves. Fortunately Thermo helped out so on our way to the gig he got some quick lessons from Mark in the back of the van. Alot of punx from Groningen went with us (the Vacuüm crew, Bart, Orgie, Ina, Adri, Theo…) Only 4 bands from the poster played plus a bunch more. I particulary remember Indirekt because their singer wore a green jumpsuit. And Lärm with Dorien and a substitute singer. Our gig was rather chaotic and I pretty much improvised the whole set. It sounded like the rest was doing the same… In between bands we stole a boat next to the venue together with punx from Hoogeveen. After the fest we went to a party with Zmiv and Vopo’s in Meppel. The traincompartment got completely thrashed and eventually we were refused at the party. Some of us tried to get in anyway. Had a nice chat with a KNÅX member who had the exact same sleevepainting on his jacket. The sleepingplace in a barn was crowded with rats and the next morning the cops came because some idiots were frying live chickens… Did some DJN training in the nearby fields and enjoyed the hangovercrowd at the barn.
